Privacy Policy

We are aware that the protection of your privacy when using our websites is an important concern to you. We take the protection of your personal data very seriously and therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of applicable legal provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In the following, we inform you about which personal data TCM International Tool Consulting & Management GmbH and its affiliated companies (hereinafter referred to as "TCM") collect on the website "tcm-international.com" and its other websites, and how this data is used by us. This information does not apply to third-party websites to which this website and other TCM websites may link.

Collection and Processing of Personal Data

When you visit our websites, our web servers temporarily store, by default and for system security purposes, the connection data of the requesting computer, the websites you visit on our platform, the date and duration of the visit, the identification data of the browser and operating system type used, as well as the website from which you are visiting us. This information does not allow us to draw any conclusions about your identity.

We do not collect any personal data (e.g. names, addresses, telephone numbers or e-mail addresses) via our websites, unless you voluntarily provide us with such data (e.g. through registration, surveys or contact forms), or — where legally required — have given your consent, or the applicable data protection regulations permit such collection.

TCM retains personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purposes and in accordance with applicable legal provisions.

Personal data is only disclosed to third parties within the framework of applicable legal regulations.

Use of Langdock as an AI Tool

TCM uses Langdock to support internal workflows, in particular for the creation, editing, summarisation and analysis of content. In this context, texts, documents and other business information entered by employees may be processed. Personal data is only entered and processed to the extent that this is necessary and permissible under data protection law.

Where personal data is processed, such processing is carried out by Langdock on behalf of TCM on the basis of a data processing agreement in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. Content processed via Langdock is not used for training or improving general AI models, in accordance with the contractual terms applicable to TCM.

AI-generated results may be inaccurate or incomplete and are therefore subject to appropriate review before further use. Data subjects may continue to assert their data protection rights directly against TCM.

Right to Access, Rectification, Erasure, Restriction, Data Portability, Withdrawal and Objection

You are generally entitled to the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. To exercise these rights, please contact us directly.

If you believe that the processing of your data is in violation of data protection law or that your data protection rights have been infringed, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Austria, the responsible authority is:

Security and Confidentiality

To ensure the security and confidentiality of the personal data processed by TCM, appropriate technical and organisational measures are applied to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction.

If you wish to transmit personal data to us electronically by entering it on our website, your data will be transmitted to our web server via a state-of-the-art secure connection (SSL) in encrypted form over the internet, and will be stored and secured accordingly. Please note that the transmission of data by e-mail is generally not encrypted.

Comprehensive data security for the transmission of data over the internet cannot be fully guaranteed with the current state of technology. Other users may, under certain circumstances, be technically capable of unlawfully interfering with network security and monitoring message traffic. Please bear this in mind when contacting us.

Cookies, Internet Tags and Other Online Data

We use so-called cookies on our websites to recognise repeat use of our services by the same user or internet connection holder. Cookies are small text files that your internet browser places and stores on your computer. They serve the purpose of optimising our online presence and our offerings.

Some of these cookies, however, transmit information to automatically recognise you. This recognition is based on the IP address stored in the cookies. The information obtained in this way is used to optimise our offerings and to provide you with easier access to our website.

You can prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting the settings of your browser accordingly. We would like to point out, however, that in this case you may not be able to make full use of all the functions of our websites. By using these websites — without preventing the installation of cookies through the appropriate settings in your browser software — you consent to the processing of the data collected about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes described above.

Google Analytics

Our websites use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies" — text files that are stored on your computer and that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to and stored on a server operated by Google in the United States. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated by Google beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the United States and truncated there.

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide further services related to website and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data held by Google. You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software; however, please note that in doing so you may not be able to make full use of all the functions of this website. You may also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google, as well as the processing of such data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
